Our team is comprised of locals who want to serve and support locals in our own community. We hire and serve within our own neighborhoods, keeping it personal and familiar. With our headquarters in Bragg Creek, we serve the surrounding communities of Priddis, Redwood Meadows, Springbank, Cochrane and up to Water Valley.

We are dedicated RN's, LPN's, HCA's, companions and caregivers all certified in our specific areas of expertise and carrying valid CPR and first Aid training. We are all bonded and ready to assist you and your loved ones with your in-home care.  Wild Orchid is a team, so we support one another to bring exceptional service to your loved one.  Teamwork brings with it shared experience and knowledge to enhance our in home care.

JOSH - need help with Autism? A loved one or personally?

Hi, I'm Josh - a UK-trained mental health nurse with a degree in Mental Health Nursing and hands-on experience in hospital, community, and forensic settings. I've recently moved to Alberta and I'm in the process of getting registered to practice here. I am passionate about supporting people through recovery and I bring a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to everything I do. I have a solid background in Autism Spectrum disorder, risk assessment and therapeutic communication and am always looking to keep learning and growing in the mental health field.

JANESSA

Hi! My name is Janessa Glass and I am a Registered Nurse. I have a strong academic and athletic background, graduating with honours from Mount Royal University, where I was a member of the women’s varsity hockey team and recognized as an Academic All-Canadian Athlete. My clinical experience spans over a variety of hospital medical units, paralleled with experience in transition services, supporting patient care across a multifunctional framework. I have also contributed to education by teaching students at Mount Royal University, encouraging the next generation of registered nurses.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three young children and our new puppy, as well as staying active through sports such as curling, golf, slo-pitch, and tennis.
I am honoured to be a part of your home care medical team and strive to deliver the utmost care to yourself or your loved one.

CATHY

I am a registered nurse with more than 40 years in the field.
From an Emergency Department in England (where I took my nursing) to many years in one of the NICUs in Calgary, I have experience in different hospital outpatient clinics, also with young offenders, and in acute adult medicine - my first love.
I believe that clients should be given choices in their care, and should be looked after with dignity - whenever possible, in comfortable, familiar settings.

We create a community around us to bring in further support as we are your "HOME CARE CONCIERGE."  Bringing in home services like cleaning, foot care, hair care and medical testing or advice right to your door.
